Eligibility for MSc Admission:

Entry-level requirement is a minimum score of 60 percentage marks OR CPI/CGPA of 6.5  or above in 10 points in the  Bachelor’s degree in any branch  of Engineering / Technology / Science  with  Mathematics as  a Subject of study. For Machine Intelligence and Cybersecurity specializations, students are expected to have studied Mathematics during the +2/pre-university also. A candidate with CGPA less than 6.5 will also be eligible if the equivalent percentage for graduation is above 60% as per the respective university norms for conversion from CGPA to percentage.

II.M.Phil Program

1) Computer science

2) Ecological Informatics

Eligibility:

Qualifying examination/degree for the admission for the M Phil- CS degree course is M. Sc/M C A/ M.Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Computational Sciences/Geo-informatics or equivalent having minimum of three courses in CS/IT in the qualifying examination with at least 60% aggregate marks, or CGPA of above 6.5 in 10 points, or equivalent on the above mentioned subjects.

The degree is awarded by Cochin University of Science & Technology.The number of seats available for both MPhil prgrammes are 15 each.

III.PhD program in computer science

Eligibility:

candidate must have a Master’s degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks in qualifying examination or a minimum of CGPA of 6.0 in the 10 point scale ( or an equivalent grade in similar scales). A candidate belonging to SC/ST community shall be eligible for concession upto 10% marks in the minimum eligible marks for admission
